That’s a good thing, by the way.Īnd it’s also great to hear Rutger Hauer’s voice again. It’s also clear just how much extra detail there is to the game now - this horrible, very much dystopian world never felt more discomforting. Observer, while still a visual tour de force, had a couple of technical hiccups on Xbox One and PS4, yet judging from System Redux, next-gen bumps it up a lot. The most obvious thing is just how much smoother it feels on console this time out. Observer: System Redux pc gameplay preview (no commentary) with an xbox controller. We gave it a quick spin on the Series S and found that it was quite the improvement, just from the first fifteen minutes of gameplay.

This doesn't always happen, but it's not unheard of.Observer System Redux is the next-gen update for the cult classic horror game that is available right now on Xbox Series X | S. So if you have a 120Hz monitor paired with a 60Hz, games will run at 60fps on both monitors if you enable vsync. If you're running two different monitors with different refresh rates, both monitors will default to the lowest refresh rate/frames per second of the two. I could see this behaviour on two monitors one 60hz and one 120hz It may be a symptom of trying to run dual-monitors. Originally posted by Redhorn Donnie:Hey sorry I didn't catch this earlier. If I try to set the full refresh rate, enabling Vsync automatically switch the refresh rate to unlimited. for some reason, I can only set Vsync on and define a refresh rate if I choose half the refresh rate of my screen. enable Vsync at the same time (ingame settings) define a framerate limit (ingame settings) enable just one screen (disconnect the others) I found a way to play with 60 fps without any random drops :

Like I'm standing doing nothing I pause the game, resume it, I see stutters but fps counter still shows 60. I do notice more lag when transitionning from a room to another, and the FPS counter shows a drop. I did find a FrameRateLimit=60.000000 line in the GameUserSettings.ini in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ObserverSystemRedux\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor Sorry, I couldn't find the setting you're talking in the engine.ini. It was like that in the original and it clearly hasn't changed in Redux. Nothing can be done to fix that from the user side. The stuttering you mention is due to the game loading in different areas as you move around, such as opening a door from the stairwell and entering a different apartment wing. Cuisine Royale (Smart Delivery) Dead by Daylight (Xbox Game. You did all the correct steps and I'm glad it worked. Here’s the full list of launch games: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Smart Delivery) Borderlands 3 (Smart Delivery) Bright Memory 1.0. The setting you found is indeed the one I was talking about! Sorry, I should have indicated where it was beforehand. The game become much smoother but from time to time I notice a strong stuttering. If it was what you were talking about, to me it does the same effect than setting Vsync Off and framerate on 60 with ingame settings. Sorry, I couldn't find the setting you' re talking in the engine.ini. Moving the camera feels way smoother now. Observer: System Redux uses familiar sci-fi themes to create a compelling murder mystery in a haunting dystopian future.
